Here are some updates for the GBB team over the next few days. The GBB game vs. Sargent County will be in Milnor on Thursday the 1st. This will be a 5:30 JV start time with Varsity to follow. The GBB game vs. Florence/Henry will be played in Henry on the 2nd (make note they moved this from the original schedule). It will be a 6:15 JV start with Varsity to follow. We are matched up with Ellendale for the Bonanza on Saturday the 3rd. We play at 1:00 at NDSCS. Go Tigers!!!!
Good luck to the BBB team tonight as they take on Barnes County North in Wimbledon, ND. The JV starts at 5:30 with the Varsity to follow. BCN streams on NFHS and I am not sure if there is a charge or not. Go Tigers!!!!!!!
Good Morning Tiger Nation. We had an awesome accomplishment last night at the Girls game vs. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood. In the second quarter Shali Laurence hit a mid-range jumper and scored her 1,000th point for the Tri-State Tigers. Shali is junior for the Tigers and great team leader. Congrats Shali and Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!

Good Evening Tiger Nation. This message is on behalf of all three Tri-State Athletic Directors. We have all separately received calls/concerns about how our fans are acting during games, especially towards the officials. The complaints have been across both genders and multiple different sports. Most of you have noticed that the referee shortage is a serious issue not only here but across the country. The NFHS did a poll and the number one reason for the shortage of officials is poor behavior by adult fans. We cannot see a scenario where we want to be known around the area as the team with the most disrespectful fans. The players are doing their best, the coaches are doing their best and the officials are doing their best. Our job is to support the student-athletes in a positive and respectful manner. Remember we are role models for the young men and women we are cheering for. Go Tigers!!!!!

When watching the games on our new streaming service, the games are entered as separate JV and Varsity events. Those streams are set to end at a certain time but will overlap. Some people reached out to me and said that the stream stopped with 5 minutes left in the Varsity game. That was because some were still watching the JV stream. The best thing to do would be to get in the habit of switching over to the Varsity game once the JV game is over. Go Tigers!
